Deep Tissue Massage:

Long, slow strokes and deep pressure are at the heart of deep tissue massage. It alleviates chronic muscle tension, soft tissue injuries, and muscular pain. Deep tissue massage can also increase range of motion and circulation.

Pregnancy Massage:

This is a nurturing and soothing massage for the mom-to-be. Prenatal massage is beneficial for all stages of pregnancy and focuses on relieving discomforts and increasing well-being.

Elder Touch:

Geriatric massage, Elder Touch, is a gentle massage for the older individual. The health benefits are numerous, in addition to providing a source of touch which is missed in many elders’ lives.

Sports Massage:

Geared toward athletes, and people with chronic pain, soft tissue injuries and limited range of motion, sports massage includes deep and vigorous techniques combined with assisted stretching. For athletes, there are four types of sports massage tailored for where you are at in your training: pre-event, post-event, restorative, and rehabilitative.
Prepare your body for optimal performance and endurance. Receiving sports massage can minimize injuries and increase recovery time by breaking down muscle adhesions, and increasing range of motion and circulation.

Trigger Point Therapy:

Active trigger points are continuous contraction knots in the muscles. These knots are so tight that circulation decreases in the immediate area of the knot. Pain is radiated outward to other muscles when pressure is applied to the trigger point or, in a more severe condition, when the muscle is at rest. Headaches, joint pain, neck pain, low back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, and numbness in the hands and feet are just a few of the symptoms that can be caused by trigger points. Trigger point therapy applies direct pressure to theses knots and flushes the tissue so that trigger points can release. The cause of these points can be associated with posture and overuse. Trigger point therapy incorporated with massage, and in conjunction with lifestyle changes, can decrease pain and improve your health.

Myofascial Release:

Myo-fascial Release is a gentle hands-on form of sustained stretching to reduce restrictions in connective tissue, known as fascia. Fascia surrounds all of the muscles, muscle fibers, tendons and ligaments, not to mention every other organ in the body. In a healthy state, muscle fascia is flexible and elastic. When we stretch, we are stretching fascia. It stiffens and shortens with physical trauma, scarring, or inflammation. This can cause pain and decreased range of motion. Myofascial Release promotes strength, flexibility, range of motion and improves overall posture. It releases chronic holding patterns and reduces pain.

Swedish Massage:

Swedish style massage features long, continuous strokes at a medium to light pressure. Friction and kneading techniques are also included to relax the muscles. Swedish massage promotes relaxation, improves circulation, relieves muscle tension and improves muscle tone and flexibility. One hour of Swedish massage equals several hours of restorative sleep and improves your well-being.

Hot Stones Massage:

Hot stone massage is a specialty massage that incorporates many of the techniques listed above. The uniqueness of it is in the stones. Smooth, volcanic stones are heated in water and placed on tension areas and acupressure points, as well as incorporated into the massage strokes. The heat from the stones radiates into the muscles and creates a deeply soothing and relaxing experience. Hot stone therapy also loosens tight muscles, relieves stress, promotes detoxification and improves the flow of energy in your body.

Chair Massage:

On-site chair massage is a great treat for the work environment. Corporate and small offices alike will enjoy the benefits of happy employees.
